Qualification & Experience for NIBGM Vacancies 2016

1. Professor
1. Ph.D. in any branch of life science or statistical science or computational science or genetic epidemiological science, of relevance to biomedical genomics or M.D.
2. Minimum of 12 years’ post-PhD experience in research and teaching or translation at a recognized university/ Institute of repute and having proven leadership.
3. Excellent track record of independent research and research guidance for a minimum of 8 years, and high-quality scientific publications.
2. Associate Professor
1. Ph.D. in any branch of life science or statistical science or computational science or genetic epidemiological science, of relevance to biomedical genomics or M.D.
2. Minimum of 10 years’ post-PhD experience in research and teaching or translation at a recognized university/ Institute of repute and having proven leadership.
3. Excellent track record of independent research and research guidance for a minimum of 5 years, and high-quality scientific publications.
3. Assistant Professor
1. Ph.D. in any branch of life science or statistical science or computational science or genetic epidemiological science, of relevance to biomedical genomics or M.D.
2. Minimum of 3 years’ post-PhD experience in research and teaching or translation at a recognized university/ Institute of repute and having proven leadership.
3. Good track record of high-quality scientific publications.
4. Manager (Administration)
1. Graduate from any recognized University and PG Diploma in Management (Personal/Human Resource /Material Management)/ Master in Management Studies (Human Resource/Material Management) Master of Business Administration ( Human Resource / Material Management) from recognized Institute.
2. Minimum 7 years at supervisory level( out of which 5 years regular service in the Pay band-3: Rs.15,600 -Rs.39,100 plus grade pay: Rs.6600 or equivalent in the parent cadre or Department ) in Administration / Establishment / Purchase / Estate preferably in Central / State Government / Autonomous Organisation/ Public Sector Undertakings.
3. Proficiency in computer applications and Management information system
5. Administrative Officer
1. Graduate from a recognized University and Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Personal/Material Management/Finance) / Master in Management Studies ( Human Resource/ Finance ) / Master of Business Administration (Human Resource/Finance/Material Management) from recognized Institute/ Chartered Accountant/ ICWA.
2. Minimum 5 years in Pay band-3: Rs. 15,600 – Rs.39,100 plus grade pay: Rs. 5400 or 6 years regular service in the Pay band-2: Rs.9,300 –34,800 plus grade pay: Rs.4800 or 7 years in the Pay band – 2: Rs.9,300 –34,800 plus grade pay: Rs.4600 or equivalent in the relevant field in Administration / Establishment / Purchase / Estate preferably in Central/ State Government / Autonomous Orgn./ Public Sector Undertakings.
3. Proficiency in computer applications and Management information system.
6. Senior Technical Officer
1. Bachelor of Science/ Bachelor of Technology / Master of Science in Biotechnology and allied discipline.
2. Minimum 9 years’ (for Bachelor Degree holders) or 7 years’ (for Master Degree holders), Out of which 2 years regular service in the Pay band-2: Rs.9300-Rs.34,800 plus grade pay: Rs.4800 or 3 years regular service in the Pay band-2: Rs.9300-Rs.34,800 plus grade pay: Rs.4600 or equivalent) experience in platform technology.
7. Technical Assistant /Sr. Lab Technician
1. Bachelor of Science/ Bachelor of Technology / Master of Science in Biotechnology and allied discipline.
2. Minimum 7 years’ (for Bachelor Degree holders) or 5 years’ (for Master Degree holders), out of which 5 years regular service in the Pay band- 2 Rs.9,300-Rs.34,800 plus grade pay: Rs. 4200 or equivalent in platform technology.
8. Section Officer
1. Graduate from any recognized university and Diploma in Business Management /Chartered Accountant (Inter)/ Institute of Cost & Works Accountants (Intermediate).
2. Minimum 5 years regular service in the Pay band -2: Rs. 9300 – Rs. 34800 plus grade pay: Rs. 4200 or equivalent in Administration/ Finance & Accounts/ Stores. 
3. Knowledge of Computer applications.
9. Management Assistant
1. Graduate from a recognized University/ Institution.
2. Minimum 6 years regular service in the Pay band -1: Rs.5200 – Rs. 20200 plus grade pay: Rs. 2,800 or 10 years regular service in Pay band-1: Rs.5,200-Rs.20,200 plus grade pay: Rs. 2400 or equivalent in Administration/ Finance & Accounts/ Stores.
3. Knowledge of Computer applications.
10. Junior Management Assistant
1. Graduate from a recognized university.
2. Minimum three years’ experience in Administration/ Finance & Accounts/Stores in R&D organizations/ Teaching Institutions/Reputed Organisations.
3. Proficiency in computer applications.
