Allahabad University Recruitment 2016 – 293 Faculty Positions: Allahabad University has issued notification for the recruitment of 293 Professor, Associate Professor & Assistant Professor vacancies for various departments. Allahabad University Vacancy Details

Applications are invited for the Posts of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor,  Professor in various Departments of Faculties of Arts, Commerce, Law, Science and other independent Institutes / Centres of the University of Allahabad  :

1. Professor: 49 Posts
2. Associate Professor: 84 Posts
3. Assistant Professor: 160 Posts

Pay Scale

1. Professor : Rs. 37400-67000 with AGP of Rs. 10000/-
2. Associate Professor : Rs. 37400-67000 with AGP of Rs. 9000/-
3. Assistant Professor : Rs. 15000-39100 with AGP of Rs. 6000/-

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Masters degree in Physical Education with a minimum of 55% (marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is allowed) & Ph.D in Physical Education or equivalent published work & have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/ SET and have relevant experiences.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on test/ interview.

Application Fee: Candidates should have to pay Rs. 500/- (for General & OBC candidates) & Rs. 200/- (for SC/ ST candidates) through Demand Draft from any nationalized bank drawn in favour of the Finance Officer, University of Allahabad, payable at Allahabad. The requisite fee may also be remitted through RTGS/ NEFT to Punjab National Bank, Colonelganj Branch, Allahabad, India. Account No. 1001000100229307 & IFS code – PUNB0100100.
