West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (WBSEDCL) has
released notification for the recruitment of 60 Assistant Engineer
(Electrical, Mechanical) vacancies through GATE 2016. Eligible
candidates with valid GATE-216 score may apply online from 10/02/2016 at
10:00 A.M to 10/03/2016 till Midnight & send hard copy of online
application on or before 15/03/2016. Other details like age, educational
qualification, selection process, how to apply are given below.

Eligibility Criteria for WBSEDCL Engineer posts
Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 18-27 years as on 01-01-2015. Age relaxation is applicable by 5 years for SC/ ST, 3 years for OBC (A & B) of West Bengal only, 10 years for PwD candidates as per rules.Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Full Time 4 years B.E/ B.Tech/ B.Sc (Engineering) Degree in Electrical Engineering/ Electrical & Electronics (Combined)/ Mechanical Engineering/ B.Sc (H) in Physics with 3 years B.Tech in Electrical Engineering/ Power Engineering.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on GATE-2016 score, Personal Interview.
Application Fee: Rs. 400/- through Bank Challan (as additional bank charge will applicable on the same).
How to Apply: Eligible Candidates have to Apply Online separately for WBSEDCL. The Online Application process shall commence from 10/02/2016 and will close on 10/03/2016. The last date for submission of registration slip, bank challan and other credentials is 15/03/2016.

4. Click on “Apply Online” & Read all the instructions carefully.
5. Fill all the details carefully & Submit the form.
