IARI stands for Indian Agriculture Research Institute it is also called as Pusa Institute. IARI was started in 1905 at Pusa, Bihar with 30,000 pounds of generous grants from an American philanthropist, Mr. Henry Phipps, later this institute was names as agriculture research institute. Indian Agriculture Research Institute Online Application
