B. Junior Engineer (Electrical): 05 posts (General-04, SC (Punjab)-01)

Salary details: Pay scale Rs 10300 - 34800 with GP Rs 4800 for S.N 01 and 02

Educational Qualification: Punjab Department of Rural Development & Panchayats (PBRDP) looking candidates who have Diploma in Civil or Electrical engineering from State Board of Technical education.

Age limit: 01-01-2016:  18 - 37 years for General, 45 years for State Central Government employees, 42 years for ST/SC,

Selection Process: PBRDP Recruitment board will be select basis on written exam (There will be no Interview)
 
Exam pattern: Written exam (Preliminary and Mains) of two (2) hours which consist 120 Objective (MCQ) questions?

A. Preliminary Examination: 120 MCQ with No Negative Marking

04. Mental Ability/ Numerical Ability/ Aptitude: 15

B. Main Examination: 120 MCQ with 0.25 Negative Marking

05. Highways, Bridge and Railway: 20

01. Fundamental of Electrical Energy: 20
02. Transmission and Distribution of Power: 20
03. Electric Machines: 20
04. Power Generation: 20
05. Measurement & Instruments: 20
06. Utilization of Electric Energy and Control of Drive: 20

Application fee: Rs 800 for ST/SC/BC/EXS and Rs 1250 for all other candidates as Examination fee.
