UPSC Advt No 04/ 2016 – Apply Online for 73 Asst Director, Scientist & Other Posts: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released notification for the recruitment of 73 Air Safety Officer, Assistant Director, Extra Assistant Director, Deputy Legislative Counsel (Hindi Branch), Scientists ‘B’ vacancies. Eligibility Criteria for UPSC Advt No 04/ 2016

Essential Qualification and Experience:

1. Air Safety Officer (Engineering) : Degree in Aeronautical Engineering of a recognized University OR A pass in associate membership examination parts II & III/Sections A & B of the Aeronautical Society of India.
2. Assistant Director of Census Operation (T) : Master's Degree in Statistics or Operation Research or Mathematics (with statistics) or Economics(with Statistics) or Commerce (With Statistics) or Anthropology (with Statistics) or Sociology (with Statistics or Demography (with Statistics) from a recognised University; and 03 years' experience in collection, tabulation, analysis and interpretation of Statistical data.
3. Assistant Director (Cipher) : Master Degree in Mathematics of a recognized University or equivalent. 05 years' experience of Cipher duties in Cipher Organisation in a responsible capacity in cipher organisation.
4. Assistant Directors in Directorate of Coordination (Police Wireless) : Degree in Telecommunications Engineering or in Electrical Engineering with Telecommunications Engineering as a special subject from a recognised University or equivalent OR Master's Degree in Physics with Wireless or Electronics as a special subject from a recognised University or equivalent.
5. Deputy Legislative Counsel (Hindi Branch) : Master's Degree in Law (LLM) from a University established or incorporated by or under a Central Act; Provincial Act or a State Act or any institution for higher education deemed to be a University by the Central Government or any other institution or foreign University approved by the Central Government; Should have been a member of State Judicial Service for a period of eight years.
6. Assistant Director, Grade-I (Costing) : Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or Institute of Cost and works Accountants of India or equivalent. Some experience of dealing with costing and Financial problems.
7. Scientists 'B' (Civil Engineering) : Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or Institute and Possessing 03 Year's experience in the relevant branch of engineering.

Application Fee: The Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 25/- only either by remitting the money in any branch of the SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of the SBI or by using visa/ master credit/ debit card. No fee for SC/ ST/ PH/ Women candidates of any community.

Selection Process: Interview. In cases where selection is made by Recruitment Test (RT) followed by interview. The category-wise minimum level of suitability in interviews, irrespective of whether the selection is made only by interview or by Recruitment Test followed by interview, will be UR-50 marks, OBC-45 marks, SC/ST/PH-40 marks, out of the total marks of interview being 100.

How to Apply: Eligible Candidates are required to submit Online Recruitment Application (ORA) through UPSC ORA Website on or before 17/03/2016 up to 23:59 Hours.

Instructions to Apply Online:

1. Before applying online candidates have to scan the copies of photograph & signature.
2. Log on through the website www.upsconline.nic.in.
3. Click on “Online Recruitment Application (ORA) for Various Recruitment Posts”.
4. Click on “New Registration”.
5. Fill all the details carefully & submit the form.
6. After successful registration, a unique registration ID will be allotted, note down the ID & password.
7. Now fill the personal profile, contact details, age relaxation if applicable.
8. Now fill the details of qualification, experience.
9. Now fill the details of Professional Registration, Language, Miscellaneous Module.
10. Now candidate have to choose the Recruitment Test Centre.
11. Now upload documents in Document Upload Module.
12. After uploading photograph & signature preview the ORA form and check the details carefully.
13. Now click on the submit button
14. Candidates can Pay Fee using the Internet banking facility in SBI or other associated banks or can pay through Visa/ Master Debit or Credit card issued by any Bank/ Institution.
15. Here the Transaction ID & Date of Registration details will directly uploaded automatically.
16. Now pay the fee through cash at any branch of State Bank of India through the Pay-in-Slip
17. A transaction ID will be given, again revisit the website and click on the “Click here to view your Previous/ Currently active applications”.
18. Log in by registration ID & password, candidates can see “My Active Application (My draft Application)” link.
19. Now fill the details of transaction ID and Date of Transaction if paid through cash.
20. Click “Continue”, check the details of fee and submit the application.
21. Now take printout of online application for future use.
