Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL), a joint venture of Government of India and Government of Karnataka is the Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) entrusted with the responsibility of implementation of Bangalore Metro Rail system.

BMRCL Recruitment 2016 invites applications    from  qualified  and  experienced personnel for  appointment  to middle  and  junior level Engineering positions in  the Project  Wing.   All appointments proposed will be on “contract basis” only.  :

• Dy. Chief Engineer (P way) : 01 post
• Assistant Engineer (P way) : 02 posts
• Section Engineer (P way) : 02 posts 
• Section Engineer (Architectural/Structural ) : 02 posts
• Section Engineer (Civil) : 25 posts

Pay Scale for BMRC Recruitment 2016

Dy. Chief Engineer (P way) : Rs. 37400 – 67000/- and G.P Rs. 8700/-
Section Engineer (Civil, Pway & Architectural/ Structural ) : Rs. 9300 – 34800/- and G.P Rs. 4200/-
Assistant Engineer (P way) : Rs. 9300 – 34800/- and G.P Rs. 4800/-

Age Limit for Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Recruitment 2016

• For Section Engineer & Assistant Engineer : 40 years
• For Dy. Chief Engineer : 55 years

Eligibility Criteria and Experience for BMRC Recruitment 2016    

• For Section Engineer (P way) : BE/ B.Tech in any discipline or Diploma in Engineering. Candidates holding BE degree should have minimum of 3 years of experience in designs & construction of track, out of which at least 2 years experience should be in designs and execution of ballastless track in Metro project. Candidates holding Diploma should have minimum 6 years of experience in designs & construction of track, out of which atleast 5 years experience should be in design and execution of ballastless track in metro project. The candidate should be well experienced in interfacing with system contractors and schedule of dimensions for standard gauge.
• For Section Engineer (Civil): BE(Civil) or Diploma in Civil Engineering. Candidates holding BE should have minimum expereince of 3 years in construction supervision and other activities such as supervision, quality control, quantity survey etc, in mega projects out of which 2 years should in Metro Project. Diploma holders should have minimum 6 years of experience construction supervision and other activities such as supervision, quality control quantity survey etc, in Mega Projects out of which 5 years should be in Metro Project.
• For Section Engineer (Architectural/Structural): Diploma in Civil Engineering or ITI certificate in Draughtsman ship. Minimum 5 years of experience for Diploma holders in structural detailing of building, bridges etc, or detailed architectural design and interior drawing ,preparation of working drawings of multistoried buildings. Candidate must be thorough in using Auto CAD ( 3 D) with knowledge of Lisp or 3 D max. Minimum of 8 yeas experience for ITI certificate holder in structural. Preference will be given to candidates having experience in metro project.
• For Assistant Engineer (P way) : BE/ B.Tech in any discipline or Diploma in Engineering. Candidates holding BE degree should have minimum of 5 years of experience in designs & construction of track, out of which at least 3 years experience should be in designs and execution of ballastless track in Metro project. Candidates holding Diploma should have minimum 8 years of experience in designs & construction of track, out of which atleast 6 years experience should be in design and execution of ballastless track in metro project. The candidate should be well experienced in interfacing with system contractors and schedule of dimensions for standard gauge.
• For Dy. Chief Engineer (P way) : BE/ BTech in any discipline. Candidates holding BE degree should have minimum of 15 years of experience in designs & construction of track, out of which at least 7 years experience should be in designs and execution of ballastless track in Metro project. The candidate should be well experienced in interfacing with system contractors and schedule of dimensions for standard gauge.
