Eligibility Criteria for HPSC Recruitment :

Educational Qualification :

Essential Qualifications (for the post of Chief Manager Production (Class-I) (Cat. No. 1):

1. 1^st or 2^nd Class Master’s Degree in Agriculture Plant Breeding, Agronomy or Seed Technology.
2. Minimum ten years experience in Seed Production, Inspection Certification, Processing & Marketing at Senior management level.
3. Knowledge of Hindi/ Sanskrit upto Matric.

Note:- The experience will only be counted after acquiring the basic minimum qualification.

Essential Qualifications (for the post of Chief Manager Marketing (Class-I) (Cat. No. 2):

1. 1st or High 2nd class Master’s Degree in Agriculture “other than Soil Science” or MBA, Specialization in Marketing Management.
2. Minimum ten years experience out of which at least five years should be in a senior position in the field Semi. Govt./Cooperative Sector.
3. Desirable Diploma in Marketing Management from a recognized University.
4. Knowledge of Hindi/ Sanskrit upto Matric.

Note:- The experience will only be counted after acquiring the basic minimum qualification.

Essential Qualifications (for the post of Manager (Class-II) (Cat. No. 3):

1. M.Sc. Agril. preference to M.Sc. (Agril) with specialization in plant breeding, Agronomy or Seed Technology
2. Minimum 3 years experience in the field of Seed Prodn. Processing, working with a seed organization of Public or Pvt. Sector.
3. Knowledge of Hindi/Sanskrit upto Matric.

Essential Qualifications (for the post of Assistant Director (Group-B) (Cat. No. 4):

• 2^nd Class Master’s Degree in Ancient Indian History, culture and Archaeology (with Archaeology Group) from recognized university.
• Post Graduate Diploma in Archaeology.
• Hindi upto Matric Standard.

Preferential

1. Research experience with published research work in the field of Archaeology.
2. Field experience and practical training in Numismatic and Epigraphy.
3. Sanskrit upto B.A. standard.

Essential Qualifications (for the post of Numismatic Officer (Group-B) (Cat. No. 5):

• 2^nd Class Master’s Degree in Ancient Indian History, culture and Archaeology (with Archaeology Group) from recognized university.
• Post Graduate Diploma in Archaeology.
• Hindi upto Matric Standard.

Preferential

1. Research experience with published research work in the field of Archaeology.
2. Field experience and practical training in Numismatic and Epigraphy.
3. Sanskrit upto B.A. standard.

Essential Qualifications (for the post of Curator (Group-B) (Cat. No. 6):

• 2^nd Class Master’s Degree in Ancient Indian History, culture and Archaeology (with Archaeology Group) from recognized university.
• Post Graduate Diploma in Archaeology.
• Hindi upto Matric Standard.

Preferential

1. Research experience with published research work in the field of Archaeology.
2. Field experience and practical training in Numismatic and Epigraphy.
3. Sanskrit upto B.A. standard.

Essential Qualifications (for the post of A.E (Civil, Mechanical & Electrical) (Cat. No. 7):

1. B.E. (in respective branch) or equivalent qualification as mentioned in Appendix-B of HSE (Group-B) Rules, 1970.
2. Hindi or Sanskrit upto Matric Standard.

Essential Qualifications(for the post of District Welfare Officer) (Cat. No.8):

1. Master degree from a recognized University in Social work or Sociology or Economics.
2. Five years field experience in the Development or Welfare Department of the Central or any state Govt.
3. Hindi or Sanskrit upto Matric standard.

Note:- The experience in each case will be counted after attending of the basic qualification.

Nationality : Indian

Age Limit : As on 01/01/2016.

• For Assistant Engineer : 20 to 42 years 
• For District Welfare Officer : 30 to 45 years
• For Manager : 17 to 45 years

Age Relaxation :

• For the Haryana domicile candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Backward Classes and EBP (Gen.) category of Haryana : 05 years

Selection Process : Selection will be based on Written examination and Viva-voce.

Application Fee : Candidates have to pay Rs. 500/- for Gen (Male), Rs. 125/- For Female candidates of all (General and Reserved) categories of all states, Rs. 125/- for male of SC/ BC/ SBC/ EBPG candidates of Haryana State only. Candidates have to pay the fee through e-Challan in any branch of State Bank of India, State Bank of Patiala after 48 hours of registration of online application form.
